I think your motivation should be to eat healthier. When you eat less it could be unhealthy or you could lack nutrients. You should try eating veggies and fruits or maybe even fasting to help your body and metabolism retrain itself :)

I've been doing intermittent fasting for a while now, in fact I'm doing it differently. Not everyone's body is the same and really doesn't work the same way. I have a very slow metabolism. Whenever you decide to change the way you eat, don't go on a diet, make it a lifestyle because diets are temporary. I only eat once a day which is at night and I gym in the morning. I've lost 50KGs / 100LBs in half a year. You can still eat a lot, it's just what you eat and and just workout.
