I can't get up early. Can you recommend a perfect sleep duration for a 20yr old guy
90min sleep cycles works for me, or 2 hrs after midnight for every hour before.
Skip you meal for nights. And make only one permanent bed time. If its 22.00 go to bed just that time, not before or after. Maintain this routine for 7 days. It will be ur habit.

There is no constant number of hours, but you should know how your body get rest so you can determine your average 😉
Perfect hours: Sleeping 1,5h, 3h, 4,5h, 6h, 7,5h, 9h, 10,5h etc.
Sleep cycle 90 mins. Most adults function best on 6-10 hours sleep. So try getting 6/7.5/9 and see what makes you feel most refreshed.

I'm 27, and I also have 2 kids, so maybe it's not the same, but I finally got myself and my 2 kids on a schedule as to where I put them to bed at 7 o'clock, and I go to bed at 7 o'clock as well. I don't go to bed to sleep, but I lay down and unwind and fall asleep around 8:30. I set my alarm to wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning. At first, it's tough because I was used to going to bed at around 10 or 11 o'clock, but it's well worth it because I can wake up now at 5:30 some days and feel great.
Go to bed at 10 pm daily, and 30 minutes before your sleep don't see your smartphone 📱 which will affect your sleep..
The best thing to do is to find out how much sleep you actually need.
1 Go to bed before midnight and see how long you need to sleep till you wakeup naturally.
2 count the hours and apply it to the time you need to wake up on a daily basis. Nobody is generic discover your own body's need. Good luck 😉
